MiKaela is a retail veteran with nearly 20 years of experience between Walmart and Sam’s Club in both general merchandise and food. Her experience includes buying, marketing, customer insights, services, business development, e-commerce, financial planning, and supply chain.
Leveraging this experience, MiKaela led Walmart’s Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) initiative, leading the company to achieve a massive goal of sourcing $20B from women-owned companies. She is also the woman behind the women-owned logo now found on products worldwide.
It is through those experiences, and her passion for helping other women, that led MiKaela to start Accelerate. She has been described as “the full package”, entrepreneurial, strategic, innovative, customer-focused, honest and real.
